Why we do this
On the record
True crime is full of speculation. We take the other road: released footage, court records, and verified reporting. Every case story is sourced, every claim attributed, and every accused person presumed innocent until a court says otherwise.
Behind every case are real victims and real families. We tell these stories to inform — never to exploit. That means respectful storytelling, no gore for shock value, and corrections when we get something wrong.
Standard Procedure
How a case gets covered
- Start from the record — footage releases, affidavits, dockets, and credible reporting.
- Attribute every claim: what the footage shows, what prosecutors allege, what the court ruled.
- Use conviction language only after a verdict. Until then: accused, alleged, charged.
- Update the case file when the case moves — arrests, pleas, trials, sentences.
